This is some of the best authentic Chinese food in Raleigh. 5 minute walk from our house. Our go to for takeout. A little spendy because they use local and organic ingredients as much as possible but totally worth it.

This is a great barbecue and meat centric small neighborhood restaurant. Nice outdoor seating. 15 min walk from our house. Less than 5 min drive.

We buy all of our bread here. They have been donating a loaf for every loaf you buy to local food donation groups to help out with food insecurity during the pandemic. They do the typical bakery thing, but they also have an amazing ever changing menu. Check out their facebook page to see what they’re up to any given day. 5 min drive, 30 min walk down a busy but mostly shady road with sidewalks and bike lanes.

Right next to one of our local breweries, Burial Beer Co. It’s not really walkable, but definitely bike-able. That’s what we do. 5 minute drive.
Best Pizza in town. This is not a restaurant, they only do pickup or delivery. But the pizza is incredible. Fresh, local, organic ingredients. Creative options. This is our family go to for pizza night. Oh, and their salads are not to be missed.
