Sightseeing
Our nearest beach. Though tidal (there is only a beach when the tide is at low tide) it is good for surfing and relaxing. During the summer there is a surf school run by a local from our village. Also a good place to start or end a coastal walk at. There is a beautiful 2.5 mile walk from here along the cliffs to Tintagel, where you can visit the castle and/or walk up into Tintagel to explore. Or for a longer more up and down walk (approx 5-6 miles) you can head to Port Gavene Port Issac.

An interesting historical site with fantastic scenery. Rather costly to get into but worth a view from the outside at least. There is also a very beautiful church nearby on the cliff top.

Famous for the TV program Doc Martin and for the singer The Fishermen's Friends. It is a must see for some and is a beautiful Cornish fishing village. Though it can get very busy. However that a great places to eat and again the coastal path give more spectacular scenery for you to walk along.
