1640年頃、昔の花街の入り口に設置された木造の大きな門です。京都市の登録有形文化財に指定されています。 [Shimabara Big Gate] This apartment is locaed inside of the geisha quarter in the past. (Now here is a quiet residntial area.) This gate was made to fence geishas so that they can not go outside in 1640 and is Kyoto City's cultural property.
