This is my FAVORITE place. The food is great, as are the people. You need to make a reservation, but sometimes there is room at the bar. This is authentic Mexican/Mayan cuisine.

This is where the locals go for really good Chinese food. The food is excellent and the service is great. I've been going there for about 16 years. It's great.

This is our local food cooperative. It has all you need to either eat and drink there, in their café, or you can buy amazingly healthy food there to bring back to eat and/or make in the apartment :)

Really, this is the most upscale, delicious, gourmet dining in town. Reservations are a must. The service is lovely. The owner chef is a love. Enjoy your evening :)

This is a relatively short trail: about 30 minutes to the top. The trailhead is about a 25 - 30 minute drive from the apartment. There is a great summit - wide views - wow :)

The one trail I'm thinking of is called Black Mountain Trail, off of Black Mountain Road. The trailhead is about 20 minutes from the apartment, and it's about a 30 minute hike up to the summit. This short hike leaves you plenty of time for other adventures. Or, you can hang out at the summit for a while. It is a rocky and forested "summit" and some folks think there is not enough of a view. Other folks love it. I like it for a cozy hike :) There are other hikes up and down that mountain, so be careful which one you take. They are all beautiful, but you want to have the time to go in and not get lost :) Go online for details.

This is our main Museum. It has interesting rotating exhibits. Sometimes there is an event there. Of course, it is open to the public especially on the first Friday of each month for the Gallery Walks in town.
