AKIYA nehemiah は江井という昔ながらの線香町にあります。家の前にある海水浴場。穴場で人が少ないので、プライベートでゆっくりな時間を過ごして、海に入ったり、釣りをしたりすることもできます。地元の人の仕事は線香を作ったり、漁師をやったり現在人の生活から離れているので、スローライフにぴったりな町です。 AKIYA nehemiah is located in a small local town which produces incense on the island of Awaji named EI. The beach located right in front of the house is a hidden gem so you will basically have it all to yourselves on a normal day. You can try swimming in the water or fishing near the lighthouse. Most of the people who live here are fishermen and/or make incense. This is the perfect location for experiencing what slow life is like in a rural Japanese town.

淡路島を思いっきり楽しむには車がおすすめです。 1. 車で 本州からAKIYA nehemiah までは神戸淡路鳴門自動車道を乗る必要があります。ETCが付いている車だと普通料金よりだいぶ安いので、ETCの車で来てください！ 北淡ICを降りてから約17分 津名一宮ICを降りてから約13分 2. レンタカー 車を持っていない方はここでは淡路島で１番安いレンタカーを紹介します。 「木下レンタカー」1日3500円〜車が借りられます。 神戸三宮から木下レンタカーの前に神姫バスと淡路交通どっちでも止まります。 津名臨海公園のバス停からただ３分歩きになります。 神戸三宮 - 津名臨海公園 片道：¥1580 往復：¥2840 3. Driving Directions to Our Beach House

The best way to get around the island is by car. By Car You will need to get on the Kobe Awaji Naruto Highway which connects the mainland to the island. You can either get off at: Hokudan Interchange 17 minute drive to our beach house OR Tsuna-Ichinomiya 13 minute drive to our beach house

Renting a Car on Awaji Island

For international license holders you will need to get an International Driving Permit, and you will need to obtain this before you arrive in Japan. The cheapest car rental company on the island is Kinoshita RentaCar, starting from ¥3,500 a day. There is a a bus running from Kobe Sannomiya to the rental car company. We will send you more information via our welcome book after your booking.

Our beach house is lucky to be a 6 minute walk from a bus that gets you here straight from Kobe Sannomiya.
