Food scene
The Cape food scene is very eclectic from picnic table restaurants to upscale candlelight, all American to authentic ethnicities, and everything in-between. Below are a few of our favorites.
This busy very local establishment overlooks the neighborhood ocean beaches, is a mile from the Suite, and offers excellent entrees (seafood & more), apps, & drinks. It is always very busy, so go early, put your name in, and walk the beach while you wait. An early dinner or late lunch will serve to avoid a line.

This cash only place is totally Cape Cod! There is no indoor seating; everyone eats outside and picnic tables overlooking the water. Their specialty is fresh seafood served in little baskets, the picnic tables have plastic silverware and a roll of paper towels… This is not an upscale place it’s a homey place with great, simple, fresh seafood. Serves all three meals, no reservations; go for an early or late meal a.k.a. between the regular meal times and you’ll be able to avoid the lines. You order at the counter and waiters/waitresses bring your food to your picnic table. It’s a BYOB restaurant; you can drink there, but they don’t serve alcoholic beverages. And, in the summer you can catch the sunset here.
