On the mainland near the ferry landing - good food and on the water. From the island (for a little adventure) call Leverock's to arrange for a water taxi to pick you up at Rum Bay restaurant and take you by boat to Leverock's for a great meal. They will then return you to Rum Bay after dinner.

Ft. Myers has some points of interest for a day off the island. Be sure to take in the Edison and Ford Winter Estate with their homes and work-shops open for viewing. Educational and fascinating.

Ringling Mansion, Ringling Park, Ringling Brothers' Circus Museum, can all be found in Sarasota in one complex. It's a day full of adventure and the miniature circus is amazing. The mansion sits right on the water and is a sight to behold.

The Palm Island Transit Ferry
Be sure to be on time for the last ferry - 10pm most nights - midnight on Saturday. Next ferry is 6:30am everyday.
