All floors are either hardwood or concrete. Since we prefer guests to have their shoes off while inside the home, a pair of slippers may make your stay more comfortable.

We have 100 acres you are welcome to explore while being respectful of other guests on the property.
Coutumes et culture
Amish community
While driving around backroads you may see a horse and buggy. You can pass them at anytime at a slow and respectful pace as to not spook the horses. The local Amish community are near and dear to us and are the reason Bear Ridge is what it is today. You may see our groundskeeper, Allen, on the property mowing or tending to the chickens. He is the nicest man and also the pastor of his community. If you do see the Amish on the property working please respect their beliefs and refrain from taking photos or videos of them.
