The old town is just beautiful and is to be remembered. Take a good look at the local craft on the old trade street. You will find easily some souvenirs to bring back home.
The coffee made on sand is something quite rare in Bulgaria - you should try it by yourself. And don't miss the local home made sweets too.
For the digital nomads, and for ones who seek peace and calmness Tryavna is an excellent place to stay for even longer. The constant light air stream on the hills keeps the air always fresh and even tasty.

The 200 year clock tower sings a beautiful song at 10PM
There is a clock tower by the river at the center of the town. It's 200 year old and every night at 10PM it plays a beautiful Bulgarian song.
It tells the story of two young who fell in love and to keep their love forever they turned into trees by the river.
The song was written by famous Bulgarian poet who was born in Tryavna some 150 years ago.
The town is so quiet and calm, and the song is so tender. It just brings peace to your soul.

The Old Town and The Humpback Brigde - architectural reserve
Some buildings are 200 year old. And the bridge is both beautiful and impressive. You can literally "feel" the history at this place. The history of Christianity preserved for half a milennia in the vast and hostile Ottoman Empire.
Take a look at the local craftsmanship which is presented here. And have your souvenirs to remember the place.
Déplacements
The central part of Tryavna is so easy to walk around
Park your car next to the Town Hall which by the way is declared to be the most beautiful one in Bulgaria amongst this type of buildings.
A walk around the old town will take up to several hours with the meal or just having some coffee or tea.
In August avoid the hours between 12:00 and 16:00 because some of the places are being closed.
