Its a really nice 45 minute stroll down the canal (Brecon direction) too if the weather is nice. Or perhaps pop in on the way back from a cycle ride.
This is a very old coaching inn which serves good food every day. If you want old and also fancy a stroll around the pretty village of Crickhowell, then this only a 15 minute drive from Talybont.

You will find a great array of independent shops here with books, of course, antiques, clothes and great food and drink. Also with a fab trim trail going around the large playing fields which is ideal for children who want to cycle on the flat and have a bit of fun. You also have the canal tow path which offers family friendly cycling on the flat. Perfect!

Right here in Talybont you will find a brand new playground just opened in 2017. Also with a fab trim trail going around the large playing fields which is ideal for children who want to cycle on the flat and have a bit of fun. You also have the canal tow path which offers family friendly cycling on the flat. Perfect!

A mountain bike park with a range of different trails to suit all levels. It only takes about 35 minutes in the car so close enough to enjoy before coming back to wash off yourselves and your bikes! There is an uplift service to save you the very long hard cycle back to the top but you have to book this well in advance and it is highly recommended.
