Kalaja or Ulcinj Castle (Cyrillic: Стари град, Albanian: Qyteti i vjetër), also known as Ulcinj Old Town is an ancient castle and neighborhood in Ulcinj. Was built by the Illyrians and Ancient Greeks on a small peninsula at the right side of the Pristan Gulf, which is part of the Adriatic Sea. Today, oldest remains are the Cyclopean Wall. The castle has been restored many times since it was first built although major changes were made by the Byzantinians, Venetians, and Ottomans. The modern city of Ulcinj was built outside of this castle.

The ancient town Shas or Svač (Svatsh) is located on top of a hill (85m) Shas Hill, which streches on the North of Lake Shas, offering a stunning view of the lake and to the whole area of the Bojana Delta. According to a legend Shas had few hundreds of churches. However, there were found the ruins of only about ten ancient churches, among which two can be considered as monumental. The Church of St. John (Shen Gjoni) was built inside the fortress somewhere in the XIII century. The second church, St. Mary (Shen Mrise) was built in the XIV century outside the fortress, towards the North-East. It used to be 16.6 m long, 7.1 m wide and it was made in the Gothic style.

If you watch the movie you will notice the exact beach house and beach parts, where you can enjoy today stunning views, nice Mediterranean cuisine and various refreshments .

The island is of triangular shape, bordered from two sides by the Bojana river, and by the Adriatic Sea from the south-west. It has an area of 4.8 square km. It is a popular tourist destination, with 3 kilometers (2 miles) long sandy beach with traditional seafood restaurants. Ada Bojana is one of the premier kite surfing and windsurfing locations on the Adriatic Coast with strong cross onshore winds during summer afternoons. Ada Bojana is also famous for camping and nudist beach.
