The Monks House is a great little piece of history. The house is a 17th century weatherboarded cottage that was inhabited by the novelist Virginia Woolf and appears as if she has just stepped out for a walk. Outside the cottage are beautiful gardens that contain a mix of flowers, vegetables, orchards, lawns and ponds.
