Once featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, this restaurant is a fantastic option for authentic Mexican and El Salvadoran food. Owner/chef Gloria is a sweetheart and doesn't mess around in the kitchen. Large portions at affordable prices. Can't go wrong with that.

Drinks are cheap and the entertainment is free. Celebrity guest appearances are rare but not unheard of. Also, this is LA karaoke, where that terrible rendition of "Don't Stop Believin'" will be followed by a cover of "I Will Always Love You" that is so beautiful you'll wonder how the person on stage isn't making money off of their music (hint: they probably are).

Our brand new train line (the Expo Line) that runs all the way from Santa Monica to downtown LA. Just 0.3 miles from our place to the nearest station. A cheap and convenient way to get about the city.
