Beaches
One of my favorites! Depending on the time of year and the time of day, you can drive here in ten minutes. We like to go early! It opens at 6:00 am, but we go around 8:00. We've seen dolphin pods swimming close to shore, just inside the human swimming areas. It's a pay per parking, and there are great restrooms and beach showers. You can also use one of the permanent palapas, if you can snag one as soon as you get there. It's one of my favorite areas.

Food scene
This very unassuming restaurant at the end of a strip mall complex has amazing seafood. :) It is a bit on the spendy side, but if you want great food and great service, this is the place! I've never been disappointed. There is outdoor seating as well.
