This refill shop is very close to the house and they now stock only vegan products. Apart from all the regular refills like pasta, rice, nuts, fruit etc they also have beer, kombucha, toiletries etc - worth checking out :-)

Apart from the fact that the food is super tasty and delicious - this is a great area to check out as it’s in the Open Market - which has many other cool cafes, independent small restaurants, stalls and shops that are fun to snoop around - you are also a short walk to the Duke of York cinema - which is a great Picturehouse cinema. From here you are a short walk to the top of theNorth Lanes.

This is in a perfect central location - by the clock tower - in Queen’s Street - leading up to Brighton train Station - perfect if you’re in town. It has a vegan menu :-)

It seems so unassuming but this is one of my favourite places to eat in Brighton - the falafel are amazing - healthy choices and delicious and great value for money - definitely worth checking out :-)

A lovely park - a scented garden, beautiful cherry blossom in the spring, good playground for kids, pond with fish, nice cafe, tennis courts and lots of green and trees to picnic under. It’s halfway between our house and the centre of Brighton - around 20 minutes walk away or a few minutes in the car.

If you decide to have a look at Kemp Town which is East of Brighton and has an eclectic mix of cafes, bars, restaurants, shops etc. You can go North slightly and relax in Queens Park. Queens Park has a lovely pond, great playground and cafe - a good place to relax - watch out for the seagulls - I had one swoop down and take my carrot cake from here!

Queen's Park
1 West DrIf you decide to have a look at Kemp Town which is East of Brighton and has an eclectic mix of cafes, bars, restaurants, shops etc. You can go North slightly and relax in Queens Park. Queens Park has a lovely pond, great playground and cafe - a good place to relax - watch out for the seagulls - I had one swoop down and take my carrot cake from here!
Stoneham Park is one of the nearest parks to us - only about 5-10 minute stroll. A cosy small local park with a good playground for kids, as well as basketball court.
The cafe which was great seems to be closed since the last lockdown - there is however a small bakery next to the park called Stoneham Bakehouse (open Thurs 10am-1pm & Sat 10am-1pm) that does good bagels and cinnamon rolls or a cafe close by called 44 Poets.
