Outdoor Recreation

We’re lucky to be located within close distance of many incredible trails. Here are a few recommendations to get you started. We suggest checking out the Hiking Project app by REI — it’s free and provides helpful details/maps of all the local trails. There are plenty more areas to explore around here and we’re familiar with most of them, so we’re always happy to share additional suggestions!
From the west parking lot (marked as Panorama Point Trailhead on some maps), a five-minute drive up Highway 74, take the trail uphill through the trees about 1.3 miles to Panorama Point and enjoy expansive views of Colorado’s Front Range.

Déplacements

If you're using Uber/Lyft...

Both work in our area, but it may take some extra time to get picked up at our house. Your driver may lose cell service on their way here, in which case the app won’t alert you when they arrive and they may be unable to call/text you. Keep an eye out and be ready to go outside to meet them. We DON'T recommend using Uber/Lyft to visit parks/trails in the mountains, as you may not be able to get a ride when you're ready to leave (either because there's no cell service, or no drivers available).
