Bird Rock Trail, located in the Heaving Down Rock area of Provo offers a pleasant hike through natural wetlands ending on the north eastern coast of the island. Bring some big spray and be sure to avoid the poison wood trees that thrive in the salty rocky landscape.

Déplacements

It's A Good Idea To Rent A Car

I suggest that all my guests rent a car while visiting the island. While Provo may be a small island (approximately 2 x 24 miles) you will find that everything is quite spread out and not within walking distance. A rental car will allow easy access to all the attractions, beaches and amenities the island has to offer... just remember to drive on the left!
Phrases utiles

"Soon Reach"

This is a local term indicating someone is on their way, or perhaps about to be on their way and should arrive in about fifteen minutes. 'I Soon Reach' is also a flavour of our local Turks Head Beer.

Pack What You Can

All products are imported to the island and you will find that groceries, alcohol, sunscreen, bug spray etc is significantly more expensive on the island. If you have the space and inclination, consider packing some items in your luggage such as coffee, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. For super savers, consider bringing a cooler of frozen meat if you intend to cook in often or have a preference for organic meats. Meat can be brought into the TCI, providing it is in its original packing from the grocery store and unopened (home packaged meat will be confiscated and destroyed).

Try To Spot JoJo

Jojo is our resident dolphin. Frequently spited from boats on Grace Bay and throughout the cays, this friendly dolphin often follows behind boats playing in their wake. Once you've seen Jojo, go ring the bell by Coral Gardens!
