Sightseeing

Beavertail not only has the historic Lighthouse but has wonderful walking trails that lead you around the peninsula through paths atop the rocky coves and through wooded areas. Along the paths you'll see wild roses, apple blossoms, honeysuckle in spring. Mid to late September, Beavertail hosts hundreds of Monarchs on their annual migration. There is a family of Osprey that has nested on an antennae tower and you will frequently hear them and be able to watch them fish.
