This is my family's former restaurant. My mother sold the restaurant in 2019 to a long time employee. Opening it's doors in 1987, Falls Firehouse Pizza is a staple of Sheboygan Falls. Fun fact, it's where my wife and I met!

The Lakeshore and River Front Boardwalk in Sheboygan.

Head downtown, park near Blue Harbor Resort. You can spend a couple days exploring the river and lakefront. Feeling adventurous? Walk out to the lighthouse... on a windy day or when a storm is over the lake be careful, the waves can be extremely dangerous!

An Old Fashioned

An Old Fashioned is a popular cocktail consumed in Wisconsin. When ordering an old fashioned, you will have some choices. Brandy sweet, Whiskey sweet, Brandy sour, Whiskey sour. You may also be asked how to garnish. This means cherries or olives. The most authentic version is the Brandy Sweet with cherries. Fun fact about 75% of all brandy consumed in the US is in Wisconsin. Note to self, drink lots of water while drinking, and limit yourself to 2-3 drinks. An old fashioned is like candy, very sugary, and the consequences can be felt for a good 24-48 hours!

The local accent

You may notice a funny accent with some of us around here. It's part of the eastern Wisconsin charm. for example when talking about an amount, let's say 2 to 3 of something, it is often expressed as "two er tree". The word "the" is often substituted with a much more simple "da" Here are some basics to become familiar with... I mean wit, "them = dem" "there = der" "Yes = Ya" do you understand = "ya know" Sympathy is often expressed as "ah geez" sometimes enhanced with "geez Louise." A variation of yes or a form of confirmation may be met with a "You betchya"
