I am always running to Ngon the moment I set foot in The Hague. Always a friendly welcome, fast service which is great for lunch, and satisfying huge bowls of pho!
(Compared to other Asian cuisines overloaded with spices I find Vietnamese food light, fresh, refined... bouillons are key. Plus; On the table are always fresh herbs and sauces to play with!)

My fav 'feet in the sand' beach restaurant with a chill vibe and a tasty menu, with bio options. Great wine and beer selection.
From the apartment it's a 20-30 minute walk or just take the tram or bike (10 minutes). Follow the Goudenregenstraat to the left until the last tram stop, and follow the dune path towards the sea.

Perfect Afternoon; A stroll on the Lange Voorhout, a visit of my favorite ´little' museum in The Hague, and closing with some boutique (window) shopping and drinks at the Denneweg.
Besides the well known works of Escher such as the Metamorphosis series, there is an extensive collection of his other works as well. The palace itself is a tour on it's own, and thoughout the museum there is a superbe ongoing exposition of the (weird &) wonderful chandeliers of Hans van Bentem.

It is one of the largest nature reserves in The Hague and has a diverse landscape with forests and open spaces, valleys and high dune tops, bunker ruins from World War II and Scottish Highland cows that roam about freely. Early morning is my favorite 😍

There are a lot of paths and bridges for great pictures! Takeaway coffee is available to keep you warm. In the summer there are open air concerts at the estate.
