Less than one mile and a few minutes walk, check out the Ski jumping competitions and athlete training or take a Skyride in the eight-passenger pulse gondola transporting you up to the base of the ski jumping towers. From there you a scenic elevator takes you to the sky deck of the 120-meter ski jumping tower and with the glass exterior, the ride up gives a stunning bird’s-eye view of the Adirondack High Peaks.

High Falls Gorge is a 22 acre, privately owned nature park. It is great for all ages and provides safe trail access to an otherwise inaccessible area, with four Adirondack waterfalls cascading over rocks into a deep crevice carved a billion years ago. In the shadow of Whiteface Mountain, you can take a nature walk to view the famous AuSable River as it cascades over ancient granite cliffs. Sturdy bridges, walkways and groomed walking trails provide safe access to breathtaking Adirondack views and scenic photographic vantage points.

This is our family's all time steady favorite. Right next to Mirror Lake and a great place to grab lunch if you are hanging at the beach all day.

Great sandwich menu, that is our favorite thing about this place. We have not eaten dinner or lunch in the restaurant rather order from the expansive sandwich selection to go.
