Sightseeing

Historic Kimbolton is famous for Kimbolton Castle - Katharine of Aragon's last residence following her divorce from King Henry VIII. It's now a school, but open to the public on the first Sunday of every March & November. Kimbolton is a lovely small town to visit - have a browse in the small unique shops on the High Street, call in at Oliver's Cafe or Crawfords for coffee/tea! There are several local public footpaths in the area.

Cambridge is just a 30-40 minute drive away & there is plenty to do in the City. Shopping is good (head for the Grand Arcade area), there are plenty of places to eat, walk around the many university colleges or you can try punting on the River Cam. We'd recommend that you use the Park & Ride (as parking in the City Centre is expensive).

City/town information

You can do as much or as little as you like in Cambridge! It's a great city for wandering around - walk along the 'backs' by the river, have a look at the colleges, or simply stroll through the city centre. It's always busy and watch out for all the cyclists! We'd recommend hiring a punt - you can either have a guide, or do it yourself!
