only hand made pasta! and that would suffice, but they are not happy just with that, everything is simply excellent.
their "crostini al lardo" and the pasta "alla Gricia" are marvellous.

they produce excellent pork meat products, you name it, they have it. all done in front of you, the shop is also their workshop.
my favourite is "pancetta arrotolata", a rolled bacon with a note of wild fennel flower.

literally 50 steps from my house, Fabrizio and his wife have all the meat you want, great quality, plus the essentials if you don't like to go any further (dairies, pasta, tomato sauce, cookies etc..).
on the day of your arrival ask him when is he going to prepare "porchetta" (a whole roasted pork rolled/stuffed with amazing herbs), you will not regret it!

this is where to go for a walk in the woods and into history.
it can be relaxing or romantic or adventurous...
just follow the road at the left of the marker on the map, you'll find an ancient bridge, the road will become a country trail and eventually only a path into the forest.
meadows in the shadow, streams and small waterfalls, ancient Etruscan tombs, fallen Roman bridges and a portion of about 200 mt of an ancient Roman road perfectly preserved.
a must see in the area
