Hiking trails that we love that are all between 1-3 hour drive from Olympia.
About 1.5hour drive from Olympia, relatively easy day hike to the lake about 7 miles round trip. Can get very busy on the weekend.

About 1.5-2 hour drive from Olympia to the entrance. There is a fee to enter the National Park. There is great hiking here some of the hikes we are like Summerland (8.5 miles), Mt Fremont lookout (3 miles), Skyline (5 miles), Naches Loop (3.5 miles), Glacier Basin (3.5 miles), Tolkien peak (6.5 miles). If you aren’t much of a hiker there are amazing views from the car or a short walk.
