This is a local chain built right here in KC. It has yummy Hawaiian Plate lunches, Dole Whip, and Spam Musabi. It's a great place for a unique meal, but be prepared, the portions are huge. My husband and I usually share a large Honolulu Chicken.

Some of the best barbeque in the KC area. A little more upscale, but one of our personal favorites. Try the Burnt Ends if they have them and the apple slaw. So yummy!

Their sauce is our all time favorite, even if you don't get to the restaurant stop by a Price Chopper store and get yourself some WHOMP! Sauce . The one with the black label...YUM! Oh and they have a fun outdoor space too, check it out!

Rated by most as the best bbq in KC. We might disagree with this a little, but the Z-Man is a must eat sandwich. You won't be disappointed. Lines are always long. You can also try their original location in the gas station. Just google it.

Just up the street at 103rd and Metcalf is a real, fabulous, west coast style Korean Bakery. They have wonderful desserts and pastries as well as boba and coffee.

If you are traveling with children this a must see in Overland Park. Very fun for little ones and grown ups too. Our kids loved going here as teeny tinies. Used to be free on weekdays, but since COVID, you might want to call.
