This old store, converted into a restaurant is SUPER casual. It's a small space, so be kind to the staff as they are bombarded every day with folks stopping in. Park along the loop, try to grab an outdoor table (booth in the corner is our favorite), and get anything on the menu. They have GREAT specials and are best known for their breakfast. If you can't get a table, grab a daily doughnut and maybe some oysters for later.

You could spend hours and hours here. There's a whole outside ground to the museum that makes it unlike any other. It's in a beautiful spot and tells so much history of Maine/this area.Totally worth a visit, and stay for a sightseeing/sunset sail if you catch a nice day.

Maine Maritime Museum
243 Washington StYou could spend hours and hours here. There's a whole outside ground to the museum that makes it unlike any other. It's in a beautiful spot and tells so much history of Maine/this area.Totally worth a visit, and stay for a sightseeing/sunset sail if you catch a nice day.
