This place is a hidden gem. Only serves lunches Thursday and Friday but worth organising your schedule around. The boat museum attached is fascinating. It is also a post office.

The perfect place for a tasty lunch and so close both to the house and to the beach at Houghgarry. We take the beach chairs and have an easy picnic. We can recommend the bacon and scallop rolls and all of the cakes.

We like to go here for lunch - excellent Cullen skink . There’s a restaurant too. Walk round Langass Woods and see the bear statue as well as the stone circle.
