Best value breakfast burrito on the island. Don't bother with the menu, just order the Bronco Burrito. They close at 12 p.m., you snooze you lose! Call your order in, take it to go, walk to Seawall, and enjoy the morning sun.

This is THE spot. It is 5 venues in one: a seafood joint, burger joint, ice cream parlor, bakery, and tiki/rum/tequila bar. It has perhaps the best dining views on the island. You can see the Gulf from pretty much any table. It is super popular and busy, so planned accordingly. There is a parking structure across the street.

Hands down the most famous seafood restaurant on the island. Excellent food and service. Good for a fancy date night. Pro-tip: The adjoining restaurant: Nick's Kitchen and Beach Bar is owned by same family, uses the same kitchen, and almost has the same menu, but for half the price.

Boliver Ferry

A great time for the whole family. Drive over to the ferry terminal, drive directly onto the ferry, and enjoy the amazing views. The kids will get a kick of being on a car boat for this quick 12 minute ride.
Déplacements

Trolley

The trolley runs directly in front of the house. It is a dollar per adult and kids ride for free. It will be the most hassle free and fun way to get to the Strand/downtown and the beach. Visit the Galveston trolley website to locate the trolley in real time and avoid the wait time.
Que faut-il apporter?

Bring Flip Flops and Plenty of Sunscreen

The sun can be deceiving down here, especially on a cloudy day. Nothing can ruin a trip faster than discovering that, after 4 hours on the beach, you have been burned to a crisp. Be sure to bring sun screen and apply often.

Galveston Island Tree Sculptures

One of the beautiful things that came out of 2008's Hurricane Ike are the sculptures made from some of the majestic oaks that were killed from the backwash of salty seawater. Find a fun, free interactive map and take a tour of the various sculptures. Read more about them at: https://www.galveston.com/whattodo/tours/self-guided-tours/treesculpturetour/
