Castle inside is a bit tired but the grounds are great for walking and it has a great pets corner snd play area for small children. Make sure you are back in the car park for 5 as they close inner gates in the estate, we got locked out and had to yomp across a field to break back in and retrieve the car!

Love this place, the food, service and wine list are all excellent at this family run restaurant. A must visit for the delicious mushroom soup alone.

A really great Thai restaurant only 5 mins from the apartment, eat in or take out. If you don’t mind a bit of spice the pad gra prow is delicious as is the satay.
