City/town information

Boliver Peninsula, also knows as Crystal Beach is a fun, unique place to visit. While it has much of the same offerings as Galveston, it very much removed from all the commercialism. It is definitely a location to "get away!"

Fun, local location for dining. It can get quite busy, so plan to arrive a little earlier, or it could be a bit of a wait.

Fun, lively location on the bay side. Live music in the "Down Under" bar area. You can order small bite in the Down Order, or place a to-go order from the restaurant. Main seating is located upstairs. This is a busy local and visitor spot, but lots of fun! Try the Stingarita!!

Déplacements

Traveling to Boliver Peninsula

Depending on where you are coming from, you can travel East or West on I10 to the town of Winnie, TX, then south to the peninsula. You can take the ferry across from Galveston, however, ferry wait times can be quite long sometimes, especially during peak hours and weekends. You can visit: http://traffic.houstontranstar.org/ferrytimes/ to check the wait times.
