The best place to eat Thai food in our village of Bahn Tham is Chiang Dao Nest 2. A few minutes walk from the Roundhouses, Nest 2 has an extensive menu and is very popular. Ask Maggi to reserve a table for you.

Chiang Dao Nest 1 serves delicious Western food and is famous for its Cordon Blue menu. It is about a 20 minute walk from Chiang Dao Roundhouses. Or you can ask Maggi to arrange a taxi for you.

Trekking is possible to the summit of Doi Chiang Dao, the third highest mountain in Thailand. This is a spectacular limestone mountain rising straight up out of the valley with amazing views all around. Overnight camping is possible at the top.
However, you must have a guide as this is a restricted area, and the trail is only open from November to February. Contact Maggi to book a guide for you.
