Trekking is possible to the summit of Doi Chiang Dao, the third highest mountain in Thailand. This is a spectacular limestone mountain rising straight up out of the valley with amazing views all around. Overnight camping is possible at the top. However, you must have a guide as this is a restricted area, and the trail is only open from November to February. Contact Maggi to book a guide for you.
