Welcome to Fairmont Hot Springs, your four-season place of paradise. Families and couples can find no better place to visit in the Kootenay Rockies than Fairmont Hot Springs. Aside from being a great place for children and beginners, the small village has a unique atmosphere for all, "doable" hiking trails, and a ski resort a few minutes away. Soak in Canada’s largest hot springs mineral pool(please check for the latest in Covid rules and ask us for additional information) an ideal manner in which to turn the day into a warm glow. During the warm weather days, take a kayak or a floating device and float down the Columbia River- locals call it Fairmont float(please assess the weather and make sure everyone is comfortable (our daughter 14 and friend had a blast) This two-hour trip, is perfect for families- kids should have lifejackets. The best part of the float is, it's Free!!
Step out from your condo and within seconds you are at Riverside Golf course. With three great golf courses to choose from, Fairmont Hot Springs is a terrific golf destination. The par-3, nine-hole Creekside course is ideal for beginner and family golfers. The longest hole is only 140 yards, and the cups are twice the size of the average hole.

Food scene

Although the food at the Fairmont Hot Springs is excellent ( we love the curry chicken, pecan salad, and Maple BBQ Beef Burger at Bear's Paw Bar & Grill), We prefer the brunch at From Scratch A Mountain Kitchen.

You can hike the Hoodoo Trail, which is just a five-minute drive from our place. It is a relatively easy 3.5-kilometer hike that takes you to the top of towering hoodoos that rise just south of Fairmont Hot Springs.
