A picturesque series of small waterfalls and a great place to watch the leaping salmon (when in season). There is a large car park, a couple of pubs and nice little gift shops.

Run by volunteers the railway is a lovely place to pop into to learn about local railways. It is also just at the other end of the village and a disused part of the track makes up some of the boundary of our small holding.

Only a stone's throw from the cabin and owned by the National Trust there is a beautiful woodland walk along the side of the Teifi.

A bit of a drive away but worth it. The waterfalls are steeped in history and the scenery is spectacular. There is also a railway which runs from here to Aberystwyth so you not only get to see some great country views but also explore the seaside town without having to worry about parking the car.

A small but popular pebbly beach with a car park and a little cafe. If you follow the coastal path towards New Quay then there are plenty of private little coves where experienced swimmers might like to go snorkling. A great place to spot seals.

This is also a popular beach for surfing and there is a golf course and a dry ski slope nearby too. The car park by the seafront gets busy but there's a larger one as you enter the village which is a little walk away.

One of our nearest towns with a lovely mix of boutique shops, charity shops and eateries. There's also the castle ruins to explore and a pretty river-side walk. Our first choice for groceries and supplies.
