The Lac de Saint-Pardoux is a major tourist site in Haute-Vienne. In the heart of a preserved natural site, this artificial lake of 330 hectares (1st body of water of haute-Vienne and 2nd of Limousin) is the ideal place for the practice of outdoor activities, alone, with friends or family. Three important poles are developed:
- the Site of Santrop which is the gateway to the lake, where your family can both rest and enjoy a multitude of activities (acrobatic park in the forest and its zipline that crosses the lake, games arranged on the beach, inflatable structures, health course, beach volleyball court, petanque court, pedal boat rental, canoes and boats...). The swimming pool of Lake Saint-Pardoux offers 3 different spaces to swim, relax or have fun. On site a covered aquatic area organized around a sports pool, a play pool, a paddling pool and a wellness area and an outdoor area with a wide range of water games and water jets (leisure pool of 320m ² with river against the current, a children's pool of 100m ², an interactive playground, splashpad of 120m ², a buoy river and a pentagliss of 4 tracks).
- the Site of Chabannes is the base of nature arranged and dedicated to the practice of sports with in particular a sailing base, a mountain bike base, a multisport field, a tennis court, an archery step, a climbing wall, a Bike park. With a collective accommodation center, a campsite and a catering service, the site regularly hosts sports events and groups of young people in discovery class or in stay for holidays.
- the Site of Fréaudour is the residential area of the lake with its hamlet of cottages and its campsite. The site also hosts the water ski club open from June to October. In July and August, swimming is monitored daily at all three sites.
But also: 3 beaches, 50 km of marked trails including the tour of the Lake (24 km), Nordic walking route, bike path connecting the 3 sites, mountain biking variants, equestrian centers near the lake, fishing with fish and fish facilities (classified in 2nd category) and carnivore fishing, accessible all year round beach games for children and petanque courts and many free entertainment for the whole family in summer season.
For lovers of treasure hunting, the lake of Saint-Pardoux offers the terra Aventura cache "The crocodile of the lake". Go on the quest of the Poï'z "Zéidon"!
