You can sit on terrace looking over harbour or join the locals sitting in terrace looking over the square. This has been here for some years now, one of the first restaurants to join Dubrovnik. Certainly worth a visit in particular for a fantastic breakfast.

Traditional local cuisine, both fish and meat dishes, *capon* is the signature dish, an inspiration form the Renaissance period. Very much a locals favourite with some good options for kids.

Bugenvila is a wonderful and upscale French restaurant on the harbour. Sit in the sun and have an amazing meal with wine and fine food as the word floats by! Then grab the boat back to Dubrovnik. We certainly enjoyed our visit and lazy afternoon.

I’m not me vegetarian but this restaurant has me converted. Brilliant and very tasty vegan restaurant on Prijeko street. It’s small but certainly worth a visit. Reservations are needed, but they do talk walk ups just limited space.
