Maybe our favorite restaurant in town. $10 + tax/tip gets you a great meal, including salad, entree and ice cream! We love going here

As many people know, ya gotta try the Neat Loaf - it's as good as it gets. Not so many people know, they occasionally have an all-you-can-eat brunch on weekend that is pretty good (call first to see)

My favorite farmers market in town, it is on Saturday mornings. Very small market and unpolished, but most progressive. They have farmers from New Roots Community Farm right in the neighborhood.

Go here for great kombucha, that they brew, themselves.
I have really grown to like kombucha over the years, but I didn't especially like it when I first tried it.
Whether you're an aficionado, or just trying it out, this is a great place to go. They have something like 10-15 flavors/blends on tap, and sell for there and to go. They also occasionally have live entertainment (but it's a pretty small place).
The owners and staff are friendly as well as knowledgeable and enthusiastic about kombucha, and they even sell kits/ingredients/supplies to brew your own, and I think they have classes on how to do so.

I haven't been there much yet, but at first glance, it's pretty good. It's now a little more upscale taco shop - for better or for worse - but definitely better is that they have homemade horchata there! They even told me they plan to have it on tap with nitro-infusion for a creamy effect. Sounds good to me! How hip North Park of them :-)
Prices are a little more than the cheap taco shops, but still not real expensive. The owner and staff are very friendly :-)

Getting Around
Stay Classy Bike Rentals looks pretty great online, although I haven't used them, or know anyone that has. They deliver and pickup bikes with helmet, locks, etc. Looks pretty sharp.
