Everything Else

I love Ft. Worth! It is and hour and 20 minute drive that is worth the trip. It’s how you picture Texas, cowboys riding horses and driving long horns right down Main Street, great boutiques/ shopping, restaurants, photo ops.... google it for special events and times

Food Scene

Wylie, 7 minutes away to a typical small Texas town, however, there’s no courthouse here. Lots of places to pop in and out of. Visit Schumaker and Hart, a great little coffee shop and local boutique. Complete with creaky wood floor, old fashion candy, toys, marbles, postcards, and play a game checkers while your there. At Ballard Street Cafe have a classic Texas breakfast or a “Big Bubba” chicken fried steak or homemade slice of pie. Say It with Sugar bakery is sure to impress! Of course, any self respecting Texas town has to have a Dairy Queen, which is a few blocks away from downtown. Numerous other restaurants such as Chili’s, Cotton Patch, Dickies and many others can be found by GPS
