A wonderful farm shop owned by Malcom and Bernadette , including a fantastic butchery specialising in beef, steaks and burgers. The aged beef in there is exceptional, the bacon is a must and everything in there generally is delicious. The George and the Dragon Hudswell – 17 minute drive. Slightly further away but well worth a mention. If you visit Richmond and fancy a charming pub for lunch or supper, or you’re in to fantastic collections of real ales (CAMRA Pub of the Year 2016), this pub is well worth a visit. It’s a community run pub that draws on massive support from the whole area. Very much a plain Yorkshire pub with a beer garden with breath taking views down Swaledale and walks in to Richmond. It’s worth the journey and the rabbit pie is a locals favourite. Grantley Hall – This estate had a full revamp a few years ago and is quite a smart place to go for drinks or supper (They will park your car kind of vibe place). There is a very good thai restaurant there which comes with high recommendations.
