Very beautiful nature walk, but you need to be fit! The steps are quite steep back up. The view is worth it though, nice rocky patch to sit and have a snack and enjoy the view.

The Big Tree is the largest tree in the Eastern Cape standing at 36.6 meters tall and is a whopping 800 years old.
This giant Yellowwood tree is home to an abundance of bird life living in the Hogsback area including the Narina Trogan, Orange Thrush and Bush Cap. It is not only the birds who make use of the tree, but also the Qabimbola people (a name used for African people that paint their faces red), who collect subssap, bark and other substances form around the tree to make their face paint with.

The Kettlespout falls is a lovely hike depending on which of the routes you use. Under the right conditions, when there is a good waterflow after rains, with the wind blowing strongly in the right direction, the water is blown as much as 5 meters upwards before coming down in a spray of mist, imitating a kettle boiling. A spectacular sight.
The Kettlespout Falls can be reached via several alternative starting points and routes, depending how long you want the walk to be.
