Sintra and Cascais in one day
If you only have one day to visit Sintra and Cascais here is our recommendation:
Take the train in Rossio station to Sintra. To experience the local pastry try a Travesseiro in Casa da Piriquita.
In the afternoon take the bus 403 to Cascais (you'll get some beautiful ocean views on the way), this bus also stops in Cabo da Roca.
Once in Cascais enjoy the sun and the beach view, and take a drink at the Baía.
At the end of the day take the train back to Cais do Sodré (when there is still sun light because this train ride is also very beautiful!). You can walk from there to the apartment.
