Can get crowded at peak hours so if you want to grab dinner, best to go early or late.

This restaurant is very well known with the tourist but it's still worth a visit. It serves typical Mallorcan food. While you are waiting for your meal, try the toasted mallorcan bread with garlic aioli, they bring it with tomatoes and fresh garlic which should be rubbed onto the bread before applying the aioli. There is a newer Can Pedro with equally good food 100 metres up the road with free parking.
Expect to pay about 20€/person.
If you continue driving up the road you can reach the top of the Na Burguesa hill which offers amazing views of Palma. The road is steep and with many bends... drive carefully.

This is a must for all my guests.. it's too close to miss out! I have been coming here as far back as I remember and my father can say exactly the same. Everything is good but I recommend the ensaimadas, one of Mallorca's best known pastries. Think spiral shaped croissant, made with lard and covered with icing sugar. That's an ensaimada. If you have a sweet tooth, get the one with the chocolate filling. Besides this, you can also get great own made ice cream, meat empanadas, hot chocolate, coca de trampo. Opens 8am - 9pm. Enjoy!

Apart from being a beautiful walkway and a people watching hot spot, this street also hosts some of the best clothes retailers, including Zara, Massimo Dutti and H&M. I've found prices in spain are slightly lower than other European countries.

Getting Around
If you are renting a scooter or motorbike, you can park it for free in the designated space. It's 50 meters from the apartment.
A little further way, right next to the Santa Eulalia Church, there is a larger area for motorbike parking.

This is the closest beach to the apartment. On the promenade above it, you'll find plenty of restaurants serving food with sea views.
This is isn't Mallorca's best beach but if you haven't rented a car or fancy taking the bus, it's good enough to cool off in the summer heat.

This is isn't Mallorca's best beach but if you haven't rented a car or fancy taking the bus, it's good enough to cool off in the summer heat.
This is my favorite beach on the island. It has no road access and is a half hour walk from Colonia de San Jordi.. i.e. far less people than some of our other beaches.
Walk towards the left when you leave the beach by the port, you will first arrive in Playa del Dolls, continue past this beach for a further 20 mins and you'll arrive at Carbo Beach. In summer time, best to come around 4pm. Watch as the people leave and you get the beach to yourselves. I suggest you begin walking back when the sun is about to disappear behind the town and watch the beautiful sunset on your way back.

This is where you'll find our most picturesque swimming spots. A great road trip is from Soller to Estellencs. You'll drive through, Fornalutx, Deia, Valldemossa and Banyalbufar, all worthy of visiting. Try to time it so your looking west over the sea at sunset.
