The Seven Hills of Edinburgh

Fantastic Views in Edinburgh

Edinburgh is a city of seven hills and one of the best ways to see the city is to climb them and enjoy the views of Edinburgh and beyond.
If you walk to the top you will get the best views but you can also walk round Arthur’s Seat . Choose a day which isn’t too windy. For a lovely place to eat and drink after your walk, visit the Holyrood Palace Cafe.

It costs about £20 to get into the castle - worth it if you love history and military stuff but if you don’t want to spend that kind of money you can still get fantastic views from the castle esplanade which is free!
