40 minutes from the 1870 Happy Home. Green Lakes State Park In Manlius NY features two meromictic glacial lakes surrounded by upland forest. Strikingly scenic with it’s unusual blue green color. 1,955 acres with walking trails around the lake. Picnic areas, a sandy swimming beach, campsites, cabins, golf course and even a frisbee golf course.

40 minutes from the 1870 Happy Home. The home of baseball - Cooperstown. Take me out to the ballpark is an understatement here. This quaint village offers up a fastball of quaint excitement. The baseball hall of fame, countless baseball souvenir shops, a host of great eateries, the farmers museum, pitching booths and batting cages, Ommegang brewery and the stunning Glimmerglass Lake and marina surrounds it all. This place is outta the park cool.

40 minutes from the 1870 Happy Home. The home of baseball - Cooperstown. Take me out to the ballpark is an understatement here. This quaint village offers up a fastball of quaint excitement. The baseball hall of fame, countless baseball souvenir shops, a host of great eateries, the farmers museum, pitching booths and batting cages, Ommegang brewery and the stunning Glimmerglass Lake and marina surrounds it all. This place is outta the park cool.

Highlights are enchanted forest and water safari for the kids, lake swimming and fishing, loads of unique Adirondack style gift shops, eateries and just plain stunning scenery with it's surrounding lakes. A stones throw from Bald Mountain also known as Rondaxe Mountain. An easy yet exhilarating hike with mind bending views at the peak. A fire tower at the top of the climb is a bonus to get higher! So if you like forests, hiking, glistening lakes and sitting around a warm camp fire this place is calling. Who knows you may even see Bigfoot?
