Located on top of a hill in a cool spot off of downtown, Tony's is the real deal. Being half Italian myself, I look for one thing when I walk into an Italian restaurant - the smell of garlic!! These guys do it right! Great pasta, pizza and salads.

A little higher-end dining spot, Easy Bistro and Bar offers a wonderful experience. Great bar, impressive wine list, and terrific food. We celebrated our very first visit to Chattanooga here and was very satisfied!!

Confession: This is where we make our first stop when we roll into town! Being in the wine business in NC and studying wine for a lot of years, I am always on the look-out for great shops while I am traveling. I have to admit, being a snob, I don't find many that impress me like Imbibe. They are a very comprehensive and have a very knowledgeable staff. They have terrific selection of liquor too, even brands that are very hard get in other states.

Sightseeing

Definitely spend some time walking around downtown Chattanooga and along the River. This cool bridge that goes from the Northshore to Downtown is just for walkers/strollers/bikes...no cars. Great views of the water and downtown.

A must-see destination, Ruby Falls is stunning and a short drive up drive from the townhome up Lookout Mountain. This requires an advanced ticket purchase but, trust me its worth it. This is the tallest and deepest underground waterfall open to the public in the US!! You descend down a glass elevator to see ancient cave formations along the cavern trail to the massive falls. All tickets can be purchased online at rubyfalls.com.
