There are over 9km of walking tracks in the reserve and you can visit the wreck of SS Merimbula, Wilson's Beach, Lobster Bay, the Aboriginal cave, the Trig Station and more. We've seen whales and dolphins on our walks through the reserve and lots of black cockatoos.

This is a beautiful and very protected beach. At the northern end of the beach cross the bridge to the reserve.

You have to cross the lagoon at the end of Piscator Avenue, so check the tide clock in kitchen or on your weather app, as it is best to go during a low tide (especially in winter when the water is freezing). Alternatively, you can drive/cycle/walk via the road bridge and access the beach from Warrain Crescent.

You have to cross the lagoon at the end of Piscator Avenue, so check the tide clock in kitchen or on your weather app, as it is best to go during a low tide (especially in winter when the water is freezing). Alternatively, you can drive/cycle/walk via the road bridge and access the beach from Warrain Crescent.
Entrance to the peninsula is on Currarong Road (just before you reach the village) and you can drive to a range of attractions (including Honeymoon Bay and the Point Perpendicular lighthouse) and the start of several walking tracks. Please note, access to the peninsula is via a dirt road (Lighthouse Road). The staff at the check-in station will give you a brochure with information and a map.
