The Sea House Restaurant is just about 5 minutes from our Unit and aside from being a winner of multiple dining awards it also is one of the few truly "beachfront" dining locations on Maui. It is not to be missed! *We recommend making dinner reservations prior to your stay as it has become quite popular. Though you can also walk up and wait for a table.

Snorkle spots

Honoloa Bay has some of the best snorkeling on Maui! It is a Marine Preserve and as such no fishing of any kind is allowed here. This has allowed for immense diversity and density of marine life here. It does have a rocky entrance when getting into the water - so it may be helpful to approach with water shoes or hiking sandals as it can be slippery. The walk from the road down to the beach is a beautiful bonus as you pass through a stunning forest of beautiful trees. When you cross a dry stream bed you know you're almost there. If there has been recent rains or big swells in the winter months - it may be best to skip this location as the visibility can be greatly impacted.

Molokini crater was almost another Hawaiian island - but this crescent shaped crater just reaches out of the ocean just far enough to afford world class snorkeling and scuba diving. If you are looking for the clearest water for snorkeling and diving - you will not be disappointed as Molokini is far from shore where clarity can be impacted by waves crashing on beaches. Take a snorkeltour from Maalaea harbor. This tour is about 5 hours and usually include 2 snorkel locations- Molokini and Turtle Town. During December to March - the boat ride doubles as a Whale watching tour with high likelihood that you will see whale blows and maybe even a whale breech! 🐋

The Nakalele Blowhole is made possible by a combination of powerful waves & high tide which can shoot the water spout up to 100 feet in the air. This 10 minute hike down to the blow hole can be slippery with very sharp lava rock. It is best for those that are in good physical condition and important to wear sturdy shoes. We don't recommend hiking down in flip flops. Getting there: Continue North past Kapalua on Highway 30 for a short drive of about 20 minutes. You will be keeping an eye out for mile makers. Halfway between mile markers 38 & 39 you will see a very large dirt pullout on your left, bordered by boulders
