This is a fabulous family day out and very close to the annexe (5 minute drive). It has a drive-through zoo, theme park and great seasonal entertainment (e.g. Halloween spectacular!) and polar bears. In the summer arrive early as there are often queues to get in.

This is a fantastic day out about a 20 minute drive from the annexe. There is a huge activity pool with slides for all ages as well as a second smaller pool which has a wave machine that is turned on at specific times of the day (grande onde), there are also the large slides and a lazy river. The food is very good in here too.

This is a really lovely place for an informative and fun wine tour, and the wine is fabulous. The staff are incredibly knowledgable and helpful. It is also very close to the beautiful town of Locorotondo.

This is a fabulous beach club with a great atmosphere and a diving board into the sea, which sets it apart from some of the others. It's very family friendly and the food is great. The staff are super friendly and obliging.

Beautiful beach club, which is linked to the 5 star hotel Borgo Egnazia. Gorgeous setting with sea access. Pristine white beds and immaculate setting make this a wonderful beach club.

There are lots of fantastic restaurants in town and on the outskirts. A must-see when you are in the area.
Food scene
This is our favourite restaurant in Selva and in the wider area. There is a wide choice on the menu including antipasti, pasta dishes, meat, fish and lovely home-made desserts. It is family run and a total gem!!!

Absolutely stunning fish and seafood restaurant in the beautiful port at Savelletri. Run by husband and wife team Mimmo and Maria, this is one of our favourite places. There is a wide choice of dishes, the portions are generous and the food is stunning. There is also a brilliant wine list and amazing desserts! GO!

What can I say except we LOVE Monopoli! ❤️It is one of our favourite cities in the vicinity. Monopoli has it all. A beautiful old town and port, lots of stunning churches to visit, great shopping, good night life with lots of bars and restaurants, and a beach. It is a great place to visit all year round. At Ferragosto the lights are incredible and the fireworks are fantastic. Around 30 min drive from the annexe.

Bari is about an hour away by car or you can also go by train. If you want designer shops, this is the only place in Puglia where you will find the likes of Gucci, Hermes and Louis Vuitton. It also has a stunning old town and harbour. Vibrant, bustling city with lots going for it!
