If you want a good hot chocolate, go to the people who specialise in making it! Also a good place to buy some hand-crafted chocolate for yourself or to give as a gift - they even do haggis-spice chocolate! And for warm days, they sell delicious ice cream.

It's a relatively quiet spot a short walk away from the busy centre of the city. Also on Calton Hill are the old Royal High School, masterpiece of Georgian architecture, and the monument to Robert Burns.
