There are a number of bars and restaurants offering continental food and some with fresh seafood and Caribbean fusion cuisine. Nightlife can be busy and include live music by local artists at various restaurants in the walk-able town of Cruz Bay. You may want to ask your rental agency if they provide parking. Otherwise there is paid parking in town. There is a shopping area at Mongoose Junction featuring a selection of dazzling jewelry stores and niche clothing and collectable shops. There is also a beach gear shop, water sports and ice cream available. Mongoose Junction features a deli/bakery with fresh food daily.
Cruz Bay
This is a must visit locally owned spot! The gallery gives a peek into the culture of the past, and still has a fresh perspective on new and upcoming local art and community. From gorgeous handcrafted woodwork to jewelry pieces and new books from local authors, Bajo has done a tremendous job highlighting the best parts of the Virgin Islands and it's beauty.
