Historic downtown Springville has no traffic lights and we like it that way. Our one 4-way stop is all we need in this sleepy little historic town. Walk the sidewalks to see what’s inside the hundred year old buildings. Visit the park for a walk around the pond and by the stream with a covered walkway. Maybe you’re here during our outdoor movie night. Go inside the antique shop and pick up a cookie at the front door.

If you love speed, this is your place. Vintage motorcycles restored to perfection. Maybe you want to drive your sports car on the track or just watch others run the course. We have driven this track several times with our family Corvette. Just make sure the brakes don’t get too hot....or you won’t have a way to stop at the end of that 130 mph straightaway.

You’ve heard of them, right? The Quilts of Gee’s Bend ? A small black community surrounded on 3 sides by the Alabama river, produced some of the most iconic quilts, now considered art and shown in Museums d the world. Amazing works of art by the women of Gee’s Bend who just thought they were making quilts for warmth and decorating. Definitely a step back in history.
